2. Visiting this website

When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data to deliver the site and maintain its security. This can include your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type, operating system and referrer URL.

This processing is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably. The specific retention period and recipients depend on the hosting agreement and any logging or analytics features that are actually enabled.

3. Pre-order reservations

When you submit a KlipRide pre-order reservation, we process your email address and the number of KlipRides you choose to reserve. We use this data to manage your reservation, send a confirmation, and contact you when KlipRide is available to order.

The data is stored in a database hosted within IONOS web hosting. The KlipRide sales team also receives an email notification. The confirmation email is sent through the IONOS SMTP service using the `sales@klipride.com` mailbox.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is obtained through the required checkbox in the pre-order form. The time of consent and the version of this privacy notice are stored with the reservation. You can withdraw consent at any time with future effect. We retain your pre-order data until the sales launch and for a further six months. We then delete it unless a statutory retention obligation requires otherwise.

4. Recipients and processors

Website hosting, database operations and email delivery are provided through IONOS. IONOS processes data on our behalf where needed to operate the website, store pre-order reservations and send emails. We disclose data to other recipients only where necessary to manage your pre-order, where you have consented, or where we are legally required to do so.

We currently do not use further analytics, newsletter, payment, shipping or advertising services.

5. Your rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect.

6. Cookies and analytics

Technically necessary session cookie for pre-orders

When you submit the pre-order form, we set the technically necessary session cookie klipride_preorder. It contains a randomly generated session identifier and allows us to limit repeated or automated form submissions within a short period.

The cookie is used exclusively to provide and secure the pre-order function. It is not used for audience measurement, profiling, personalised advertising or tracking your browsing behaviour. It is a first-party session cookie, applies only for the current browser session and is deleted when the browser is closed. It is configured with the security attributes Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax.

Storing or accessing this cookie is necessary for the pre-order function expressly requested by you. Therefore, no separate cookie consent is required. The legal basis for the related processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to provide the pre-order function securely and reliably and to prevent misuse and duplicate submissions.

We use IONOS WebAnalytics for statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of this website. According to IONOS, this service does not use cookies. An IP address is transmitted when a page request is sent, then anonymised immediately and processed without personal reference. The collected data can include referrer, requested website or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymised IP address used to identify the general location of access. We currently do not use further analytics, marketing or non-essential cookies.
