A simple routine before the lift moves.
Chairlift rides are a small but familiar challenge for skiers: poles need attention while you board, lower the safety bar and settle into the seat. KlipRide is a compact ski-pole holder for chairlifts that gives the poles a place on the safety bar instead of in your hands or across your lap.
The idea is straightforward. Prepare your poles before boarding, attach KlipRide to the lift bar once you are seated, and check that the holder and strap are positioned securely. You can then use the ride to relax, talk or simply take in the mountain view with your hands free.
Use KlipRide in three practical steps.
- 01
Prepare your poles before boarding.
Place both ski poles in the open holder slots while you have a calm moment before getting on the lift. Keeping this step separate from boarding helps make the transition onto the chair more deliberate.
- 02
Attach the holder to the safety bar.
After you are seated, secure KlipRide to the lift bar and check the strap. KlipRide is designed for common round and oval safety bars on modern chairlifts.
- 03
Enjoy the ride with your poles in place.
Once the poles are held securely, your hands are free for the ride. At the top station, remove the holder and poles in good time for a smooth exit.
Designed around a familiar lift problem.
KlipRide focuses on one specific moment in skiing: the time between sitting down on the chairlift and arriving at the top. It does not change the way you ski. It simply creates a more orderly place for your poles during the ride.
The holder is made from PA11 nylon, a bio-based polyamide selected for its combination of flexibility, impact resistance and long-term durability. KlipRide is currently planned in black and will be available from November 2026.
